I feel like I deserve to watch ‘Wonderwoman’ to be more inspired in unleashing my strength.  I had and still having vigils for my father who is currently admitted in the hospital right now.  So I will make my kdrama diary update really quick.  I decided to rename this K-Drama Diary as having 10 dramas on my plate right now would make me skip some episodes which I will try to race through before the drama ends.  I learned not to complain ever because kdrama gods are spiteful and they will shower dramas more if I whine about hallyuland or something.  lol

We had 6 dramas that premiered in the past two weeks and 3 that ended from the past batch premieres.  I have to make this quick and will make up for my next update because I have to catch up with the dramas I have to watch really fast.

Chicago Typewriter (Finale Week)

I feel like I will remember this drama everytime I see an old typewriter.  There are a lot of good things to say about this with the review that I’m about to write after this.  But all through its run I like how the we transitioned from real to imaginary owing to the switching of timelines.  I like the trips to 1930’s and how the writer stayed focus in uncovering the details simultaneously with the events of the past and present while binding both the conflicts to the fictional novel that triggers the characters to redeem their unresolved issues.  Here’s my full review published at hellokpop.

Queen For Seven Days (Pilot Week)

The opening week stuns me with the poignant frame of telling me that I will be up for a weep fest, but I don’t care if I do I’m still gonna watch it.  I love Lee Dong Gun’s character already, he just fit in right away to a messy character that I want to love and hate.   As the adult versions of the other two main leads have not appeared yet, I’m preparing my heart well for this tragic love story.

My Sassy Girl (Pilot Week)

Now I understand the part when they say it will be like a quasi adaptation.  I drowned in amusement remembering the original film and how they transcribed it in a Joseon period drama.  Man this rom-com will make me feel good and will parade an interesting story to my taste.

Suspicious Partner (Ep 13-16)

That I was not expecting!  The villains twist surprised me but the last minute kiss calmed my heart right away.  Good job for still keeping the romance and story Ji Wook.  Please don’t turn ‘My Secret Romance’ on me.

My Secret Romance (Finale Week)

Dear Sung Hoon, I still like you warts and all about the drama.  Here’s my review for Secret Romance

The Best Hit (Opening Week)

Love love love the hilarious hijinks of this show.  It promises to be my comic relief each week.  Don’t have second thoughts adding it to your list.  I wrote an opening week preview of ‘The Best Hit’ at hellokpop.

Till my next kdrama entry!
